About Us

In many churches and mental health settings, there is a no-go zone: where mental health and spiritual health meet. Our mental health is not discussed in churches or fellowships and spirituality is often seen as a small part of our mental health. But actually lots of people can identify with this area. Are you in one of the groups below?

  • People who end up seeing a mental health professional even though their problem is mainly spiritual.
  • People who DO have a mental health problem but also have a strong faith which they find to be ignored.
  • People who work in secular counselling or mental health services and want to see their faith applied there.
  • People in Christian communities and churches who want to see mental health taken more seriously.
  • People who just want to explore this overlap for themselves

Mind and Soul is a non-denominational organisation exploring Christianity and Mental Health. See the links in your left to find out about our vision, leadership, and other information. Watch this short movie about our website - click the image to play [mp4, 5.6MB].
